DT Max Internet version 8.32 features the T2 program for fiscal periods ending from 1994 to 2005 and fully supports T2 corporation Internet filing, Ontario CT23 D-File, and Quebec CO-17 Internet filing.

Highlight

With the enabling of the Quebec corporate efile setup, DT Tax and Accounting is pleased to be the first software developer to introduce Quebec CO-17 Internet filing.

Any users wishing to transmit their CO-17 returns must first register with the MRQ's Clic Revenu service if they have not already done so.

For detailed instructions on how to transmit a CO-17 return with DT Max, please refer to our knowledge base document titled Quebec CO-17 efiling via Clic Revenu.

New keywords

For a fiscal period beginning after March 22, 2004, use the keyword CAPGAIN-RED within the CharityReturn group to indicate whether the charity is claiming a capital gains reduction that is less than or equal to the maximum capital gains reduction, or not claiming a capital gains reduction at all.

For a fiscal period beginning after March 22, 2004, if the charity is claiming a capital gains reduction that is less than the maximum capital gains reduction, enter the amount by using the keyword AMOUNT-RED within the CharityReturn group.

Reminder

The Quebec enterprise number (NEQ) is a 10-digit number assigned to businesses that register with the Registraire des entreprises.

Changes have been made to the keyword NEQ within the Jurisdiction group in DT Max. An entry in the NEQ keyword is no longer mandatory in this version. Also, a MOD10 check has been implemented for the NEQ keyword to ensure that the number entered is valid. If an invalid number has been entered in this version, DT Max will prompt you to enter a valid one. If an invalid number had been entered in a prior version, DT Max will generate an error that is shown in the error and warning message box, in the data entry screen.
